After work...made our way to Raffles Place..
where a dragonboat event was going now..
It was a great weather to be rowing the dragonboat in the sea..

Suddenly made me miss my kayaking days alot!!

stayed for a while before heading to Raffles CIty...

18th November....just ended exam paper on evidence based practice...

Given 3hrs to write everything...
Past days been studying the notes that the lecturer gave over lessons...

FINALLY!!!

After exam..met up with my colleagues..to celebrate...
for myself..cos exam over..
and my colleague..cos it's her birthday...

clubbed at REBEL..in Clarke Quay...
with the b'day gal, suraidah...
and frens..nasriah..elaine..

These days been busy...

looking for blueberry cheesecake recipes..
trying out new crust..new ingredients...

Sigh~..it's about time to get down to my assignment..
exam soon on the 18th...& it's like 1/8 done...

it looks like the type of camera I wanted...a DSLR
which would cost at least $1000....
but it isnt...

Another trying out on cheesecake...
this time being BLUEBERRIES...

Still finding a suitable base to suit this flavour...
added lime juice and its zest for a refreshing taste...
addition also some light sour cream...






























Despite the first attempt was not bad...
taste was not bad..
though I find the blueberry taste quite mild...



still searching for a better base..

Almost been through more than half of my AL le...

Went to this CHEESECAKE CAFE at East Coast Park area...
You'll be amazed by the interior design..
I was fascinated when I stepped into the shop...

Tried eating at this Coffeeshop at Hougang Ave 8...LAVA GRILL ROCK...
Western food...restaurant style served in a coffeeshop...
Pricing was quite reasonable..

Chilled out on an open field at Sengkang...viewing families flying kites..frisbee...
So gonna do that on one of the future AL...

Gonna wait for nxt yr AL lo...

& now after AL ending soon....
back to work..
& had better start with sch assignment...

hahaa...but now it's hard...put too long into oven...sigh~..

first was doing the ice-cream...needed to freeze it first...for later use..doing ice-cream cake...
Then was the strawberry cheesecake...

both cake are for fren's b'day..

had a great time at Sushi Tei...
The unagi with tamago was the best combination to consume...
It's both our fav dish now...havent find anywhere else better than this...
WE had scallops..teriyaki chicken too....

After that walk walk at ION...buying yummy food to try such as the jap steam cake(they had lots of flavours)..

It's the time of the month...
fcuking hate it lots...

cramping pain like hell...
dont know vomitted cos of too pain or ate smth wrong for lunch...
was nausea the afternoon...vomitted 2 times before taking ponstan to relieve the crampy pain...
nausea got better after the vomiting...

guess not the food's wrong.as ate same thing for dinner as lunch...

Finally submitted assignment le...
managed a 2hrs sleep before waking up at 6am+...as 9am having course at Bukit Merah..& dad driving me over..so leaving house at 7.30am...

course till 1230pm...after that went back to SGH...
had lunch break first before starting work...till 5.15pm...

Went to AH...took Jas's assignment...then to sch...submit our assignment and attend class regarding the nxt assignment due 1/9/09..

having this stupid headache since I woke up....

Baking cheesecake in the early morning..for BBQ with DEM colleagues in the evening...
Quite a while spread of food...
Yummy curry, beehoon..CRABSsss....
Sharing crabs among ourselves...taking our time to savour it...

Soon late evening..left for clubbing with frens...at dlbO/ O Bar...
After club..got ourselves a rm to rest in...
Early morning 7am+ left...to work/home...

First day of AL....

Did vanilla ice-cream!

Using the real vanilla...1/2 of 1/4 of the vanilla pod with the beans scrape into the milk...
Yet to try it...probably tml?..







Out to Machritchie Reservoir with Jas & Amy...
in the rented car..A white Mitsubishi Lancer...looks nice..


Weather was damn suitable for taking a hike/ walk in the woods..
It was cloudy...windy...
but the sad part was it started drizzling...
We were on foot to the Treetop walk...which was 5.4km away from us...



We have already passed the 2.5km marker..
Rather disappointed too...almost halfway le....& heard from one of the joggers..that it closed at 5pm?...By the time we reached..it would be closed too...

Luckily drizzle came when we were nearing a shelter..as it was windy on the way back...can hear the tree leaves rustle sounds above us...Hasten our footsteps each time we hear it...cos the rain could come anytime...

Slacked by a shelter..waiting for the rain to stop...before going back to the carpark...
That was a enjoyable trip though the weather disrupt our plans...
hahaa..healthy lifestyle huh...
































Settled our dinner at Maxwell Market...before going to sch..to get the report for our Wed presentation...Now left is a reflective 1500words essay of the presentation...& another essay to write regarding Mentorship...sigh~..

Chilled out after sch...
Played rounds & rounds of pool!!

Had dinner with my family at AMK Hub Diao Xiao Er...
They like the food there...plus reasonable price too..
The duck meat with herbs was yummy..delicious soup of the day...
There're veges, pork ribs, broccoli with assorted mushrooms..

Dessert of vanilla milk shake and oreo cheesecake from Anderson...

Sleeping day...

always dont feel tired on sleeping day...cos I know I'll get to sleep at nite....
so decided to do something...Strawberry Cheesecake Ice-cream...
tried another type of cream...hmm...one tablespoon less sweetener...haa...
rest of the ingredients amt remain the same...
& biscuit bits is more chunky...

AFter it finally went into the freezer...waking up every 1hr or so...just to blend/stir it up...then sleep...
hahaaa...About 4pm left home...went out meet Jas le...
Damn hungry lah when we were at P.S...havent had anything since last nite supper..
& there's a Jap food fair!...yummy...lots of sushi...Unagi!!
We had some sushi...before going to buy tix for ICE AGE 3 tml afternoon...

Soon met up with Chloe...
chilled out at LOOF...
First time there...nice environment to relax...
Each had 2 drinks...The ladies had lychee martini...while I had Heinkein beer..
Soon, we had a great meal at Makansutra...
Hokkien Mee, Mussels, Sotongs, BbQ chicken wings!, osyter omelette...sugarcane drink...
Home after that...
